Motorhome Republic is an online motorhome rental service operating in more than 30 countries worldwide, with over 450 depots available within their network. Not only do they offer 24/7 customer service, there are no added booking fees and free amendments are offered on most rentals.

Upon entering the details of your travel, including country, vehicle type, pick up and drop off location and dates of the trip, you will be shown a list of different search results that can be sorted by price, vehicle age, reviews and brand. There are also a whole range of filters to choose from in order to fine tune results, as detailed as whether the campervan uses diesel or petrol, is automatic or manual and even whether it contains a shower. When searching for a vehicle I found the large range of filters to be a great help as it meant I could avoid scrolling through dozens of results before I finding what I was looking for.

After choosing a motorhome that suits your preferences, you will be shown to a more detailed profile of the vehicle, featuring all the specifications, photos, nearest pick up depot and discount if one applies. You can also read verified customer reviews to get an idea of other users’ experience with the vehicle, as well as save the motorhome into favourites to book at a later date.

Although Motorhome Republic offer itineraries between a whole host of different locations across the globe, they are not as detailed as those provided on other websites, such as Cruise America, and cannot be downloaded as PDFs. More comprehensive travel guides would not just help the website be even more useful, it would inspire people to rent camper vans as an alternative way to go on an adventure.
