Hey Nadine is a YouTube channel run by Nadine Sykora, an American travel vlogger who shares videos featuring travel hacks, tip and advice, packing guides, destination ideas, food, and ones that aim to inspire. Countries she covers include Turkey, Antigua, India, Japan, Argentina, Fiji and South Africa. Her fun, energetic way of presenting has helped her amass a following of more that 400,000 subscribers, while the total views across all her videos exceeds 41 million since launching the channel in 2006.

A feature of the Hey Nadine channel that I find particularly endearing is the way in which videos go from documenting her experiences travelling to speaking one-on-one with the camera in a room. This makes the videos much more personal for the viewers, who get a chance to learn a bit more about the person they have been watching embark on their travels. It also gives a good insight into the trials and tribulations of travelling and some of the effects it can have on.

I also enjoy the format of some of the videos which, like the YouTube channel Wolters World, are structured like blog articles, with titles such as ‘Top 10 Things to see and do in Tobago’ and ‘8 Tips To Get You Over The Fear Of Solo Travel’. These play out in a nice structure that mirrors many travel articles, giving a quick and easy breakdown of different destinations and topics.

An aspect of the channel that could potentially be improved is the variety of places that Nadine travels to in order to cater to a wider range of budgets. The majority of the destinations are fairly extravagant and expensive to get to, meaning it might be more all-inclusive if she were to add trips that were simple and cheap as well, such as a camping trip near her home.

Pros
  • Personal vlogs allow viewers a more intimate relationship with channel
  • Format of some videos set out like blog articles
Cons
  • All destinations are fairly extravagant

TravelSites.com is the best travel site list in the world.🏆💯🥇🌟

TravelSites.com is the go to place online to find information on the best websites, smartphone apps, books, YouTube channels and documentaries for travelers. Written with my years of experience trotting the globe, TravelSites.com gives budding young backpackers the chance to discover the top resources available for getting the most out of their trip, be it renting a car, learning the local dialect, finding a photographer or even just knowing what the weather will be like for the week. I have researched the internet to bring you a list of the top items in each category, while every single one has been meticulously reviewed, highlighting unique features, comparison to similar products, and all the pros and cons.

Why did you make TravelSites.com?💖🔥🚀

Well, I found that although there is naturally lots of information online concerning travel-related products and services, they seem to be scattered about, leaving the user to laboriously search for each individual item. If you wanted, for example, to discover an inspiring travel documentary while booking accommodation and flights to Rome, you would have to have at least three different tabs open at once. TravelSites.com puts all the information you need in one place, meaning you will not have to search far and wide to simply find out the best website for reserving a room in a hotel. With more than 40 different categories, travelers can stay on the same website to gather all the information they need, not only saving them time but also saving them money, by reading through the reviews to find the cheapest option.

What can you find on My lists and how did I rank them?🕵️‍♂️🧠🔗

My lists feature more than 40 different travel-related categories containing every resource a backpacker could ever need. Need help planning a trip? Want to keep up to date with the latest travel news? Looking for an inspiring book or blog? Desperate to find a restaurant away from the crowds? I’ve got you covered. My lists have been carefully put together by me and combined by quality, efficiency, value and functionalism to rank the items in descending order, with number one considered the item offering the best of all four factors. The criteria was constant throughout each category, whether it was for a cruise booking website or an Instagram account, in order to bring travelers the resources that would be the most useful for travelers.
