WeSwap is a peer-to-peer currency exchange platform that matches travellers heading in opposite directions and swaps their travel money directly. Launched in July 2013, the service is available as a smartphone app on Android and iOS and currently supports 18 different currencies worldwide.

One of the best inclusions with the WeSwap service is the global travel card and app available. The card can be loaded via the app within a matter of minutes and doesn’t have any hidden fees that may come back to haunt you after your trip. They also don’t charge any ATM fees on withdrawals of more than £200, meaning you can avoid the steep commission that most banks charge when taking out money abroad.

If you lose the card, you can even lock it via the app until you find it and then easily unlock it again. This saves calling banks and cancelling cards which they appear at the bottom of your suitcase.

Another good feature is the ability to send unused currency to WeSwap who will then put it directly onto your card. I found this to be a great addition to their service as I often find myself with leftover money from a trip in a currency I won’t ever use again. With WeSwap you can put all your leftover money to good use by charging up your card that can then be used across any of their 18 currencies available.

One issue with WeSwap is that you are limited to loading £12,000 onto the card each year. That means that if you are working in a foreign country and receiving more than £12,000 a year, you won’t be able to use the WeSwap card to withdraw money or pay for things after a certain amount.

  • Quickly top up, lock and unlock card via free mobile app
  • No ATM fees over withdrawals of £200
  • Send leftover cash to WeSwap and have it loaded onto your card
  • Limit of £12,000 per year

TravelSites.com is the best travel site list in the world.🏆💯🥇🌟

TravelSites.com is the go-to place online to find information on the best websites, smartphone apps, books, YouTube channels, and documentaries for travelers. Written with my years of experience trotting the globe. TravelSites.com gives budding young backpackers the chance to discover the top resources available for getting the most out of their trip, be it renting a car, learning the local dialect, finding a photographer, or even just knowing what the weather will be like for the week. I have researched the internet to bring you a list of the top items in each category, while every single one has been meticulously reviewed, highlighting unique features, comparison to similar products, and all the pros and cons.

Why did you make TravelSites.com?💖🔥;🚀

Well, I found that although there is naturally lots of information online concerning travel-related products and services, they seem to be scattered about, leaving the user to search for each item laboriously. If you wanted, for example, to discover an inspiring travel documentary while booking accommodation and flights to Rome, you would have to have at least three different tabs open at once. TravelSites.com puts all the information you need in one place, meaning you will not have to search far and wide to find out the best website for reserving a room in a hotel. With more than 40 different categories, travelers can stay on the same website to gather all the information they need, not only saving them time but also saving them money by reading through the reviews to find the cheapest option.

What can you find on My lists, and how did I rank them?🕵️‍♂️🧠🔗

My listings feature more than 40 different travel-related categories containing every resource a backpacker could ever need. Need help planning a trip? Want to keep up to date with the latest travel news? Looking for an inspiring book or blog? Desperate to find a restaurant away from the crowds? I’ve got you covered. My lists have been carefully put together by me and combined by quality, efficiency, value, and functionalism to rank the items in descending order, with number one considered the thing is offering the best of all four factors. The criteria were constant throughout each category, whether it was for a cruise booking website or an Instagram account, to bring travelers the resources that would be the most useful for travelers.

How do I contact you if I have a question?💡📞📧
